Disease-Modifying Therapies

Although a cure for MS has not yet been discovered, a number of medications (also called disease-modifying therapies, or DMTs) have been approved to treat MS. Research shows early and ongoing treatment with an approved DMT can help reduce MS relapses, delay progression of disability and limit new inflammation in the central nervous system.
